I authored a play in the past. I did not wake up the nerve to send it in anywhere until lately. After I had a good review (although a rejection), I made the decision to go in it inside a play contest organized with a local theater company. Much within the The American Idol Show spirit, the aim of the competition was to get the most votes for the play.
Regrettably, this voting process wasn't a 1 week ordeal. Like March Madness, the competition continued for many days and every week the have fun with the fewest votes was removed. Through the contest's conclusion, I had been more elated through the overwhelming support I caused by buddies and family members than as being a finalist.
