A Gen Y mother used hands-me-lower bed room furniture, instead of shopping in a furniture store on her baby and set the relaxation from the products that they needed on her behalf gift registry. The products she didn't receive as baby gifts she bought at Target and Kmart. She did however find lots of her ideas (for example styles for luxury baby crib bedding) in a boutique. She stated she'd purchase only bed room add-ons, baby crib bedding, other products that they thought were original in a boutique or baby shops.
Although the majority of the parents stated they mostly looked on sale stores, they of course will make more extravagant purchases like luxury baby crib bedding or hard-to-find toys at baby boutiques if there is something they wanted in order for there kid. A Gen X mother spoken about children baby strollers. She compensated $300 for any stroller because she loved the characteristics. A Gen Y mother stated she compensated about $200 for any hard-to-find toy that sells normally for around $50. She stated she bought the toy not just because her boy wanted it, but due to the academic value. Parents are willing a larger investment on educational toys.
